Crane Millwright Permanent

Hire Resolve’s client in steel manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Crane Millwright to join their team in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all Engineering First Line Maintenance in assigned section 
• Conduct daily inspections and repairs to ensure smooth operations
• Focus on improving production and product quality
• Aim to eliminate breakdowns and minimize downtime
• Act as first line of defense when breakdowns occur
• Ensure rapid response to breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.

Requirements:

• Be qualified as a millwright and minimum N3 or Matric with Maths & Science
• Be pro-active, hardworking and demonstrate high levels of flexibility
• Be able to work under pressure and give attention to detail
• Be able to work without direct supervision
• Be a strong team player, be bilingual and have excellent communication skills
• Have a good mechanical, electrical/electronic and instrument knowledge
• Be computer literate
• Have three to five years post apprentice work experience as a millwright
• Be physically fit and not afraid of confined spaces and heights
• Be willing to work overtime as requested
• Must be willing to do standby
• Have extensive knowledge of electrical circuits
• LMI certification or studying towards its completion will be added advantage
